Our state-of-the-art indoor heated swimming pool is open from 9am-8pm during high season and is a great way to unwind.  Between the hours of 9am and 10am and 6pm and 8pm, the pool is adults only. Children may swim anytime between 10am and 6pm (under adult supervision). With french doors and views across the countryside, it's a perfect way to start or end end the day. We provide pool towels in your cottage when you arrive so you just need to remember to pack your swimwear. As well as three individual shower cubicles, there is a built-in steam room. If you're an aromatherapy fan, bring along some of your favourite oils to enhance the experience. 

Alongside the pool room is our indoor games room - ideal for those rainy days. The games room is open from 9am-9pm everyday and has a table tennis table, fruit machine, football table and a pool table (please note - the latter two take 50p coins) as well as a large selection of board games, books (for both children and adults), videos, Duplo, a Fisher-price kitchen and garage, playpen, rocking horse and toy boxes. 

For sunnier days, there are football goals in the field and a newly built adventure play park for children between the ages of 5 and 12*. This has a slides, swings and tunnels and we're hoping our little guests get lots of use out of it this summer.

*NB children using the play area must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult. 

For our health conscious guests who need their gym-fix, there is a small work out area next to the pool room. Equipment includes a cross trainer, bench press and some small weights. NB You must be over 18 to use the gym. 

All of our guests have access to the use of a shared utility room. This is equipped with washing machines, tumble dryers, an iron and irorning board, clothes airers, hoovers and a stash of wellington boots just in case you're planning a country walk during your stay.
